Uncertainty assails me!

Work at the black den makes me think twice about what i want to do in life. I know i would like to write a book. In fact, i even wrote to uncle Sam about this idea. He was very supportive and even gave me idea on what to write: jatropha plant (biodiesel alternative) and jasmine perfume industry.

Both are new and blooming industries that opens up loads of possibilities and opportunities. However, i am not sure where to begin. I'm afraid i'll be stuck with the technical aspects as well as in knowledge and experience.

I feel i have not been exposed to the world enough to attempt writing on these topics. I always thought that i would be writing fiction. I find that i can express myself more freely when i am writing fictional piece rather than a non-fiction/ factual topic. Nevertheless, writing a non-fiction script does have a more substantial feeling of accomplishment. But then so would a fictional story. I was also thinking about writing children's book. But again i find difficulty in where to begin.

Honest to goodness, i wish there was someone out there who could sponsor me to complete my Masters in Journalism. I would love the opportunity to travel overseas, Canada, Italy, Ireland, Africa and India. The exposure alone would give me good ground/ foundation to my story as well as essence, colour and depth to my story.

The black den is only one of the pit stops in my journey of self-discovery and to gain experience in all the fields of writing. So far, i have tried my hand at editorial writing, magazine writing, business writing, and now copy writing (advertising). Though all of those experiences were for a brief period of time only.
